Sandblasting
Production Program

Learn the whole craft to a production standard — resist design and stencil prep, cabinet and equipment setup, controlled-depth blasting on glass and stone, finishing and QC — with rigorous silica and respiratory safety throughout — then prove it on a real job site. Upgraded to the funding-readiness floor with supervised lab and work-based learning.

Curriculum

What you'll learn.

Hours are documented by type so they can be reported to an eligible-training-provider list or a Workforce Pell certification — theory and demonstration, supervised lab, and employer-sited work-based learning.

124 instructional / lab hours + 36 supervised work-based-learning hours = ~160 total.

Credentials

Portable credentials, not just a certificate.

You leave with recognized, third-party credentials you keep and can carry to any employer — alongside the Custom Image program certificate.

Work-based learning

36 supervised hours with a real employer.

Work-based learning is what separates a workforce program from a class. Every student completes 36 supervised production hours at a partner shop or Custom Image's own supervised studio, under a written agreement that defines the site, supervisor, tasks, and safety orientation — with a mid-point and final evaluation on the competency scale.

Outcomes & accountability

What we measure — and the targets.

Funders fund what they can verify. These are the same measures Workforce Pell, eligible-training-provider lists, and foundations use to judge a program — collected from cohort one.
